Ragdoll Kittens Pricing

The price of a Ragdoll kitten can vary depending on their parents, coat pattern, markings, colour and overall quality. Some kittens are suited as much-loved family pets, while others may be assessed for show or breeding quality. Because of this, not every kitten is the same price.

At Newcastle Ragdolls, my kitten prices start from $2,000, depending on the parents and pattern. Retired breeding cats, also known as retirees, start from $350 when available. If you are looking for current Ragdoll kitten prices in Newcastle or NSW, please contact me directly so I can let you know what is available and what may be coming up.

I understand that price is one of the first things families look for when searching for Ragdoll kittens for sale in NSW. A kitten is a long-term commitment, so it is important to know what is included before you make a decision. My goal is to be open and clear, so you know what you are paying for and why responsible breeding costs more than simply buying a kitten.

What Affects the Price of a Ragdoll Kitten?

Ragdoll kitten prices can change for a few reasons. Coat pattern, markings, eye colour, parentage and overall quality can all play a part. For example, symmetrically marked bicolour kittens may be priced individually because their appearance is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Appearance is not the only thing that matters, though. Health, temperament and care are just as important. I raise my kittens in a loving home environment and spend time helping them become confident, gentle and affectionate. I want them to be well prepared for family life before they leave me.

When comparing Ragdoll kitten costs in NSW, it helps to look at more than the advertised price. Some kittens may seem cheaper at first, but they may not include the same level of vet care, health testing, desexing, registration or support. A well-bred kitten should come with proper care behind them.

What Is Included in the Price?

All of my Ragdoll kittens are desexed, microchipped and fully vaccinated with the F3 vaccine before going to their new homes. They are also treated for ticks, fleas, worms and ear mites. Each kitten is toilet trained and checked by a licensed veterinarian.

Every kitten also comes with a Certificate of Good Health. This gives families extra peace of mind when bringing their kitten home.

I DNA test all breeding cats for PKD, which is Polycystic Kidney Disease, and HCM, which is Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. These are serious genetic conditions that can affect cats. My kittens are clear of these markers by parentage, which is an important part of my breeding program.

Once a family chooses their kitten’s name, I complete the pedigree registration. The official papers are then mailed directly to the new owners. This gives you a clear record of your kitten’s background and helps protect the quality of the Ragdoll breed.

Support Before and After Your Kitten Comes Home

Before your kitten leaves, I provide detailed information sheets to help you prepare. These cover feeding, grooming, toileting, settling in and general care. This is helpful for all families, especially if this is your first kitten.

I am also only a phone call away if you need support after your kitten arrives. I know the first few days can feel exciting and a little overwhelming. Simple questions about food, behaviour, sleeping or settling in are completely normal.

I want every family to feel confident. My support does not stop once your kitten leaves. I am happy to help for as long as you need guidance.

Kings

My boys are cared for with attention to health, temperament and quality. They are an important part of my breeding program, so I make sure they receive good nutrition, regular care and a calm environment.

Queens

My girls are loved and cared for as part of my home. Their health and comfort are very important to me. Happy, healthy queens help raise confident and well-socialised kittens.

Retired Queens

From time to time, I may have retired queens available. Retirees can be a lovely choice for families who would prefer an older Ragdoll rather than a young kitten. They often have a calmer nature and may settle well into a quieter home.
